At TransitCenter, we work in four interconnected ways: local power building, engaging and mobilizing diverse stakeholders, mobilizing philanthropy, and narrative change.
We must shift the narrative so that many more Americans see transit as an essential service deserving of more funding and priority than it currently receives.
We will engage the most effective advocates in communities where the conditions for transformative change are ripest.

Foundation Provides Interest-free Loans to Start Up Social Enterprises
The Charities Aid Foundation has set up a scheme, called the Social Enterprise Assist, that will render interest-free loans of up to £10,000 each to help social enterprise start-ups.
