Vince Leggett, Founder of Blacks of the Chesapeake, Dies at 71 - Eye On Annapolis.

A historian, storyteller, and visionary leader, Legget worked tirelessly to document and share the vital contributions of African Americans to the region's maritime heritage.

One of his most enduring achievements was the establishment of Elktonia-Carr's Beach Heritage Park in Annapolis, a site honoring African American history.
