Osf Healthcare Announces a Change in Chief Financial Officer

Illinois' OSF HealthCare, a not-for-profit faith-based hospital chain, has announced that its president and CEO will step down from his post at the end of the year, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Bruce Rauner, the hospital's current president and CEO, will take over as president and CEO of the OSF HealthCare Foundation, the charity's philanthropic arm, on July 1.

"I am confident that under Bruce's leadership, the foundation will continue to be a force for good in Illinois and beyond," said a statement from the OSF HealthCare Foundation.

"We are grateful for his many years of service to the foundation and to the patients and families we serve."

The OSF HealthCare Foundation, founded in 1979, is a not-for-profit that provides medical care and other services to some 1 million people in the Chicago area.

It also owns Pointcore, a health care-related businesses, as well as OSF HealthCare Foundation, the philanthropic arm for the organization; and OSF Ventures, which provides investment capital for promising health care innovation startups. Read the Entire Article
