It's not every day that a woman is named "Woman Entrepreneur of the Year" in a major US city, but that's exactly what's happening in Cincinnati.
The nonprofit Aviatra Accelerators is now accepting nominations in that city and Dayton, Ohio, for its annual awards, the Cincinnati Business Courier reports.
The five awards are: Woman Tech Entrepreneur of the Year: Miami University Woman Health Entrepreneur of the Year: Northern Kentucky University Woman Tech Entrepreneur of the Year: Blue North Young Woman Entrepreneur of the Year: Northern Kentucky University Woman Health Entrepreneur of the Year: Xavier University "There are so many deserving women entrepreneurs in our region, so this recognition is not only a celebration of their success but also a platform to inspire and encourage women pursue their entrepreneurial dreams," says Jill Morenz, president and CEO of Aviatra Accelerators.
To be eligible, nominees must be the majority owner of a currently operating business registered and based in the Northern Kentucky, Greater Cincinnati, or Dayton area, and be an active owner with managerial, operational, and financial oversight. Read the Entire Article
