After five years as a nonprofit university, Kansas Health Science Center is changing its name to Kansas Health Science University, per a press release.
"This name change reflects our growth and ongoing commitment to providing exceptional programs that produce forward-thinking, empathetic health care leaders," says president Tiffany Masson, Psy.D.
The university's founding program, the Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine, will remain unchanged.
KHSU, which opened in 2022 in Wichita, is part of The Community Solution Education System, a nonprofit education system that includes six other colleges and universities.
