She's the first female CEO of a company on Nigeria's stock exchange, and now Dupe Olusola is set to add another title to her resume: member of Save the Children's Africa Advisory Board.
In a statement, Transcorp Hotels, the parent company of Olusola's company, says the CEO "brings to the philanthropy a wealth of experience in leadership, strategic development, and community engagement."
Save the Children UK says Olusola will "provide strategic guidance and support to Save the Children UK, helping to shape initiatives that drive positive outcomes for children as a member of the Africa Advisory Board."
As CEO of Transcorp Hotels, Olusola has "achieved impressive milestones" and "contributed significantly to its parent company Transcorp Group's purpose of improving lives and transforming Africa," the company says.
In a statement, Save the Children UK says Olusola's "commitment to excellence and passion for transformative change" is in line with the group's "core values and objectives."
In her own statement, Olusola says she believes "every child deserves early access to health services, education, and safe water, as well as other goods and services that can maximize a child's opportunities as an adult
